Founder Karen Breakey became a writer when she received her first diary at the age of six. Her dad, a former Gaelic teacher, took a pencil and taught her how to edit her own writing. She’s been writing and editing ever since.

Armed with degrees in journalism and criminology, Karen has written for television, radio, newspapers, magazines, businesses, and governments. She has edited novels, websites, brochures, letters, resumes, personal statements, family histories, and student essays from grade nine to graduate school. She works from beautiful Vancouver, Canada.
